Starz, Greatest Hits Live CD Review On Rock N Roll Universe

I’ll always remember back in the late 70’s laying back cranking out tunes & reading the latest issue of Creem Magazine. I remember reading an article on the band Starz who were promoting their new album ‘Violation’. I bought the record, and the first thing that stood out was the cardboard inner sleeve with the lyrics to “Subway Terror”. Before I even heard the first note of “Cherry Baby” I knew this album was going to be phenomenal.

Starz ‘Greatest Hits Live’ revisits the entire career of Starz from their 1st album (which is well represented featuring “Fallen Angel," Tear It Down," ”Live Wire," ”Monkey Business,” "Detroit Girls," ”Pull the Plug,”Boys In Action” and”Night Crawler”),their break out album ”Violation”(featuring “Rock Six Times," ”Cherry Baby” and “Subway Terror), their 3rd release ‘Attention Shoppers’ ( featuring “She” and ”Any Way That You Want It”) and their heaviest effort ‘Coliseum Rock’(featuring the title track, “It’s a Riot” and “Take Me”).The entire album lets you feel the raw energy & power which their live shows brought and kicks your ass for over 70 minutes.
