BIRTHDAY OF DIABOLIQUE CLUB IN POLAND, CONCERT REVIEW ON ROCK N ROLL UNIVERSE

One may ask what does death metal music have that so many people follow such stars like Vader or Cannibal Corpse. It took quite a long time for me to find something interesting in such extreme art (beside loooong haired males, of course!).

Saturday's morning was quite hard for us all; after seeing phenomenal show of Polish heavy metal number one: Chainsaw and drinking much whisky, hardly we could take our ass’s to my car and drive 400 km to Wroclaw. We, I mean myself accompanied by members of NAUMACHIA - rising star of Polish metal music - who were to play during the first birthday of a club called Diabolique.
Telling many jokes and having great fun on the way finally we arrived at Diabolique. The owner of the club and also a vocalist of Lost Soul was preparing the stage; instruments, sound, lights etc. We left for a walk and lunch and came back later ready to rock!
First band to play was Victory Vain which was quite boring actually. Not good image, not too good sound and compositions. Even can't say a word about lyrics as they were hard to catch.
Daemorcium was next and I must admit that they were pretty good. However, we all were looking forward to seeing 'my' Naumachia artists on stage.
Not too proud of their previous show during Metalmania festival had to give their best. And they did!
40 minutes long show passed very fast. Worth of mentioning is the fact that Naumachia played for the first time in a little bit changed line-up: Soyak who had played only guitars earlier jumped into vocalist's pants.
Girls at the club was staring at four guys giving one of the best shows they have ever played. Although they were focused on playing tracks from their album 'Wrathorn' from 2004 they must have been thinking a lot about upcoming release which they are working on now. I bet you will hear about it!
Soyak reminded that it was Diabolique's birthday and they played new track called... 'Diabolique'.
Armand (guitar),Got (bass),Koshen (keyboards), Rob (drums) and Soyak (vocal, guitar) came over after the gig really happy and not only full of energy but tons of new ideas as well.
We even missed a great part of next band Elysium what was a pity because sounds coming from the stage were great.
After Elysium a great piece of dark ambient music was heard in whole club what made an incredible atmosphere inside.
No one expect to see really killing show of Lost Soul. This is a very admired in Poland (and not only) death metal band which after releasing last album 'Chaostream' is going to kill whole Europe on Chaos tour. Don't miss it and check out new tour dates at www.lostsoul.pl
